Branding
Think of our “identity” as a system of VISUAL LANGUAGE. The center of that system is our logo. Every part of the system should live to compliment the logo and offer useful and flexible design elements that empower the message in the identity as a whole. The logo is the CENTRAL IDENTIFIABLE ELEMENT because it helps our community discover, share, and remember our church’s brand. Usually it’s in the form of an icon (mark or symbol), logotype, or combination of the two. The main purpose of the logo can be summed up in five principals: SIMPLE, MEMORABLE, TIMELESS, VERSATILE, AND APPROPRIATE.
